The items included in our baking and pastry classes are always the food items, tools, handouts for take home, and aprons.
Nicci's background
My background for baking and pastry started at a young age and was supported by both my parents. I attended many baking classes, worked in restaurants at a young age, and mastered the art of networking. I believe all these skills are important to share with our young individuals.
I studied at The Culinary Institute of America, Napa Valley in 2014. I was a Baking and Pastry major, where I then completed my externship in Newport Beach at the Pelican Hill Resort. I published two baking books, Confectious ‘Easy Desserts’, and Confectious ‘Baking Balanced’, available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.com.
I traveled to Europe to explore new cafes and bakeries. I enjoyed my time working with new and innovative pastry chefs.
Confectious was created In 2015 and I later attended and graduated from Chapman University in Orange, Ca Business Entrepreneurship in 2018.
I thrive in the balance of creating/baking, innovating, educating, and professionalism.
Confectious now focuses on weddings and special events in Austin, TX, and all special event and corporate desserts in Southern CA.

Policy:
*Booking must be done at least one week in advance. Payment received upon booking. Cancelation Policy: Once booked, you have until 48 hours prior to cancel with a refund. Payment Options: Venmo (@Nicci-Julian), Zelle (949) 933-5507, Credit Card (3% processing fee), and or Check made to Confectious.

Fundamental Level (Starting)
Learning the fundamental basics of measuring, working hands on with kitchen tools, kitchen safety, baking, and basic decorating.

Median Level (Middle)
Reviewing fundamental basics, working hands on with kitchen tools, mixers, cake decorating, fondant work, and chocolate tempering.

Experienced (Advanced)
wanting to improve personally and professionally); Creating resumes, practicing in person and over the phone/zoom interviews with real life CEOS, hands on kitchen work of advanced cake decorating, tempering, fondant work.

Bi-Weekly Classes. Monday-Wednesday classes available. Dates and times will be posted at the beginning of every month.
